Scott Bull is CEO of Pace Industries, LLC, an integrated company that provides quality die casting, manufacturing, and engineering solutions worldwide. Scott has served Pace Industries continually for over 35 years in the areas of sales, marketing, and operations management and has been a central figure in the development of the company’s core values/culture, its health & safety initiatives, its sales and marketing strategies, and its overall manufacturing strategies.
He joined Pace Industries, Inc., in 1979 as Sales Manager after three seasons as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers professional football team. In 1984 he was named Vice President Marketing and in 1993 he was promoted to President of Pace. After the acquisition of Pace by Leggett and Platt, he was named Executive Vice President of the Aluminum Group and Vice President of Leggett & Platt Incorporated. In 2008, Scott assisted Leggett & Platt in the divestiture of the Aluminum Segment as Kenner & Company acquired the business. He was asked to serve the new business, Pace Industries, as CEO. Just as the return of Pace was about to occur, the Company found itself in the beginning of the 2008 Recession. Scott led the Company through a restructuring and rebranding of the Company consolidating 14 divisions into 9 divisions and stabilized the business to its current level of $400 million in sales.
Scott is a 1975 graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing. He serves on various boards and associations including, the London Metal Exchange Aluminum Committee, North American Die Casting Association Board of Governors, Pace Industries LLC Board of Directors, The Razorback Foundation, Arkansas Athletes Outreach, and is a member of the CEO Forum.
Scott and his wife, Becky, reside in Northwest Arkansas and have two grown children, John Scott Bull and Leigh Ann Sandlin.
