Brock Langford

Brock Langford is a licensed professional geologist raised in the small town of Atkins, Arkansas. Brock specializes in exploration and development geology which involves locating rock and mineral resources and determining how to best utilize them. He is married to Cecelia Langford of Pottsville and recently welcomed their first son, Kane, into the world. Brock attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville where he played football for the Wonder Boys and achieved his bachelor’s degree in professional geology. Upon graduation, Brock accepted a teaching position in Fayetteville while attending the University of Arkansas and received his master’s degree in petroleum geology. Brock spent the next six years working as a development geologist in the oil industry with tenures in the San Juan Basin of New Mexico and Permian Basin of West Texas. Having spent years away from their friends and family, Brock and Cecelia decided to return home to Arkansas where he accepted the position of Staff Geologist with Blackstone Construction. He now oversees the development and daily operations of several aggregate mining locations throughout the state. Brock is an avid outdoorsman whose favorite hobbies include spending time immersed in the natural state’s numerous hunting and fishing opportunities. He is passionate about conservation and intends to continue working to promote the preservation and sustainable use of Arkansas’ natural resources.
